Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania earned between $17 million-$18 million in Thursday previews in the United States, according to Deadline's early estimates. Official numbers for Thursday screenings are expected to be published by Disney later today, February 17.
In any event, it looks like Quantumania is tracking similarly to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which earned $17 million from its Thursday screenings in 2017. The movie opened in 43 markets around the world on Wednesday and Thursday, and it earned $23.8 million in those places, according to Deadline. Combined with the $18 million from the US on Thursday, that's good for around $41 million so far globally.
For comparison, Quantumania would be pretty far below the Thursday numbers for some of Marvel's biggest 2022 films, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($36 million), Thor: Love and Thunder ($29 million), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ($28 million).Continue Reading at GameSpot
